Description

Population 247 is a software modelling tool that can create population estimates at arbitrary places and arbitrary times in England and Wales. The current data in use at Dstl with this modelling tool is from the 2011 Census. We would like the data to be updated to make use of the 2021 Census. Population247 is a model built by the University of Southampton that uses Census and other data to calculate a population grid at different times of a 24 hour period.
