Dublin Bus wishes to appoint a market research company to conduct both qualitative and quantitative market research of varying size and budget, determined by our business needs, over the contract period. On average Dublin Bus will engage in 3-6 pieces of Market Research per annum. The contract will be for a 3 year period. The services required will cover a broad range of issues, projects and assignments including, but not limited to, the following: • Stakeholder research to determine how Dublin Bus is perceived by its’ Tier 1 stakeholders. • Annual Brand Tracker; measure brand equity and overall performance as well as other parameters. • Feasibility analysis/ market impact studies; determine the viability of an idea, such as ensuring a project is legally and technically feasible as well as economically justifiable. It tells us whether a project is worth the investment—in some cases, a project may not be doable. • Customer/User experience; collecting data regarding the experience customers have with Dublin Bus (offline/online) to assist it in better understanding its’ customers' needs and desires, so that it can build a customer-centric business model. • Macro Environmental – There are a number of external factors that have an impact on how Dublin Bus do Business. From time to time it needs to conduct research to ensure that it is fully equipped with the relevant information to assist in decision making and network planning. Here are a sample of some future projects that Dublin Bus predict it will need to conduct research for; Bus Connects, Metro North, Short Common Names, Civic Plaza, Bus Market Opening, Environmental initiatives (carbon reduction) etc. • Employee surveys – Determining the extent to which employees feel valued and involved in their everyday work ,how dedicated they are to the mission and outcome of the company and if they would recommend Dublin Bus as an employer (ENPS). • Pre-advertising campaign analysis; to research the approved creative to ensure the target consumer (represented
