UCL Partners Procurement Service (PPS) on behalf of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust intends to procure a surgical robot (DaVinci Xi) and award a 5 year contract for associated consumables and maintenance to Intuitive Surgical Sàrl. At this point in time, the DaVinci Xi system is the only surgical robot available commercially with formal clinical appraisal i.e. FDA approval (U.S. Food and Drug Administration).
