Introduction and Context The Period Dignity grant has been awarded by Welsh Government to help local authorities to tackle barriers to education relating to period dignity. The purpose of this tender is to secure a contract with a single supplier to fulfil the delivery model of a home subscription service to ensure that any learners identified will receive their preferred period products directly to their door. The provider will need to work with the project lead to establish a secure subscription service that will allow the end users to be able to select and request products to be delivered to their home. Where possible eco-friendly products and / or re-usable products must be promoted. Aims of the Project The aim of this project is to establish a home subscription service that will remove any barriers to young females affected by period poverty. It will allow the young person (and/or parent / carer) to be able to select the sanitary products they require to be delivered discreetly to their home. These items where possible will be eco-friendly products and / or reusable. Output / Objectives To provide sanitary products to up to a maximum of 600 young females who are at risk of period poverty being a barrier to their education. To promote the use of re-usable and eco-friendly products. Pwrpas y tendr hwn yw sicrhau contract gydag un cyflenwr i gyflawni’r dull darparu ar gyfer gwasanaeth tanysgrifio cartref i sicrhau bod cynnyrch mislif dewisol unrhyw ddysgwyr a nodwyd yn cael eu cyflenwi’n uniongyrchol i’w drws. Bydd yn rhaid i’r darparwr weithio gydag arweinydd y prosiect i sefydlu gwasanaeth tanysgrifio cadarn sy’n caniatáu i’r defnyddwyr ddewis a gwneud cais am gynnyrch i gael eu cyflenwi i’w cartref. Lle bo modd, dylid hyrwyddo cynnyrch ecogyfeillgar a/neu rai y gellir eu hailddefnyddio. Nodau’r Prosiect Nod y prosiect yw sefydlu gwasanaeth tanysgrifio cartref a fydd yn gwaredu unrhyw rwystrau i ferched ifanc a effeithir gan dlodi mislif. Bydd yn caniatáu i’r unigolyn (a/neu’r rhiant/gofalwr) ddewis a gwneud cais i’r cynnyrch glanweithiol sydd ei hangen arnynt gael ei gyflenwi i’w cartref. Lle bo modd, bydd yr eitemau hyn yn gynnyrch eco-gyfeillgar a/neu’n rhai y gellir eu hailddefnyddio. Canlyniad / Amcanion Darparu cynnyrch glanweithiol i hyd at 1000 o ferched ifanc y mae eu haddysg mewn perygl o gael ei heffeithio gan dlodi mislif. Hyrwyddo’r defnydd o gynnyrch ecogyfeillgar y gellir eu hailddefnyddio.
