Staffordshire Moorlands District Council (the Council) has been allocated funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and the Rural England Prosperity Fund to: 1. Lot 1 Support and grow the local social economy, including for community businesses, cooperatives and social enterprises (hereafter referred to as community businesses). The Council would like to see substantial growth in this sector leading to the creation of new and sustainable jobs within the sector. Commencing 1/4/2023 ending 31/3/2025. Note that these dates are subject to change. And for, 2. Lot 2 Investment in capacity building and infrastructure support for local civil society. Commencing 1/4/2023 ending 31/3/2025. The Council is seeking highly competent support providers to work with existing community businesses and civil society organisations and groups in Staffordshire Moorlands to provide advice and support. The Council is seeking two specific yet inter-related support providers and the successful contractor/s may wish to bid as a consortium in order to provide the specialist support for both Lots 1 and 2. We may award to a lead contractor who would be responsible for the overall delivery of both lots. Arrangements between the parties, if a consortium, would need to be specified as either a sub contract or service level agreement between the parties.
