Renfrewshire Council seeks a contractor to provide a single integrated secure door access and time management system. A high-level description of the requirements is detailed below (but not limited to): — software system that will allow for a complete flexible working system for all employees and record time and attendance; — secure controlled door entry at various Council buildings throughout Renfrewshire — enabling traceability of employees; — provide ID cards that can be customised and will enable employees to access the building; — multiple ways of clocking in and out • works — provide and install hardware for the system proposed. The contract consist of 2 separate and related contracts for the provision of the Services contract for the system, software and maintenance and the Works contract (s) for any works required for securing and maintenance of the terminals and door entry hardware. To replace the existing arrangements the contract required involves services, supplies and works. The service is the software element and the works contract is the installation securing and maintenance of the door entry hardware. The contractor will provide the Council with a door access and time management system with the provision of software to run the system and all Services for the software, including annual support and maintenance. Under this contract, where the contractor carries out any Works for the hardware installation works these will be separately carried out in accordance with SBCC minor works building contract (MWD/Scot) 2013 Edition and in accordance with the requirements as stated in the employers amendments.
