Description

Network Rail requires VDU and Safety Eye ware one stop service for its employees. The purpose of this service is to provide eligible Network Rail employees with VDU user glasses and eye tests in accordance with Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 and safety glasses and eye tests in accordance with European Standards and Markings for eye and Face Protection EN166:2001 which is compliant with the Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 1992 (as amended). The supplier will provide eyecare vouchers to employees (free of charge) for redemption throughout England, Scotland, and Wales and administer the process of arranging eye examination, re-examinations, tracking and monitoring each employee’s status and progress as well as supplying prescription VDU only or safety eyewear as single vision, bifocal or varifocals.
