Summary of work The Enterprise Topology model for TPR was previously setup to support an On-Premise application suite and mostly office-based Users. As the organisation has moved to the Cloud and adopted Hybrid working the lack of an up-to-date Enterprise Map for TPR is causing a wide variety of issues, including but not limited to, concerns over the Resilience/Business Continuity and Data Lineage/Governance, Transformation to a data-led and digitally enabled organisation, Security and cost of ownership. Where the supplied staff will work South East England Why the work is being done TPR have organisational risks aligned to the lack of documentation and understanding of our technology estate. We are looking for a supplier to review our current position and provide a plan, method and deliverables to allow us to start putting some enterprise architecture and mapping in place as well as propose the best way to ensure it is embedded and maintained. The business problem This is a recognised organisational risk and the enterprise mapping work is a key mitigation action. The people who will use the product or service User type: Architects across TPR Definition: Architects across TPR (mainly solution but also data and business) will consume and contribute to the repository once in place and it will be used by other technical colleagues for reference and guidance. Which phase the project is in Discovery Existing team The main stakeholders will be the Director of Technology and the Lead Architect. There may be times where it is appropriate to work in the office but on the whole work is done from home. Technological supply can be arranged if need be. Budget Indicative maximum: £40000 Indicative minimum: The contract value is not specified by the buyer Further information: We would expect this to take around 20 working days, but appreciate this could stretch over a period of 1-3 months depending on the model and any dependencies requested by the supplier.
