The contracting authority wishes to contract a suitably qualified services provider to deliver and assess learners for QQI accredited diving programmes, QQI Level 6 commercial scuba diving operations and QQI Level 6 surface supply inshore diving operations to fishing and aquaculture industry personnel at the Contracting Authority’s National Fisheries College of Ireland, Castletownbere, Co. Cork. The primary responsibilities of the service include: delivery of all academic, practical and in water training sessions, preparation and maintenance of a comprehensive assessment strategy in accordance with QQI standards and procedures that addresses all theoretical and practical learning outcomes, preparation and submission of course completion and quality assurance documentation as required by QQI. The contracting authority requirement is that this programme will be delivered over 5 weeks (inclusive of one week Diving First Aid) Monday — Saturday inclusive. The contracting authority requirement is that this programme will be delivered over five weeks (inclusive of one week Diving First Aid) Monday — Saturday inclusive.
