The service provides direct access to non-obstetric ultrasound diagnostics following referrals from GP Practices. The aims of the service is to aid early diagnostics to be undertaken closer to home; improve access to diagnostic testing; and avoid the need for unnecessary referral to secondary care. NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB is intending to award a contract an existing provider following direct award process C of The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.
