Demolition and Associated Works of Council owned residential properties identified are as follows: o 6 - 12, 18 - 24, 32 - 38, 40 - 46, 48 - 50 & 52 Barratts Road o 72- 78, 86 - 92 & 126 - 132 Sisefield Road o 1- 7 & 15 Little Hill Grove o 68 Hillmead Road o Kings Norton, Birmingham, B38 - Contract Number 13288 Acivico (Building Consultancy) Ltd on behalf of Birmingham City Council invites organisations to be considered to receive tender documentation for the demolition and associated works of Council owned Laing Easiform constructed residential properties. The council owned vacant properties have been earmarked for demolition and therefore identifies the need for safe demolition and site clearance in order to allow the re development of the sites for new housing. Mechanical demolition is the preferred methodology for this project. The site must be well secured by use of appropriate fencing during and at the end of the contract. The contractor must provide suitably trained workforce and experience/knowledge of works required to be undertaken. The contractor will be responsible for providing their own power, water and welfare to undertake this work. It is anticipated the works will commence in July 2022 and be completed by April 2023. The Council will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest. Site Visits It is recommended that potential suppliers may wish to undertake a site visit to ascertain the existing conditions that could affect the demolition process and make sure that their tender price is sufficient to carry out the project safely. It is however a recommendation not a condition of the tender, therefore and if a potential supplier wishes to visit the site then they should read the following information and act on it accordingly. An open day has been assigned to view the site and building which will take place on Thursday 12th May 2022 between the hours of 10am to 12noon.
