Summary of work The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is an NHS specialist cancer trust in Greater Manchester. Rated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as 'good' The Christie is ranked as the most technically advanced cancer centre in the world, outside of North America. The Christie is seeking a partner to increase our capacity to deliver a number of software engineering workstreams across the programme to modernise, maintain and develop our Electronic Health Record (EHR). Our EHR, called Clinical Web Portal (CWP), is a wholly in-house developed EHR by The Christie with integrations and interoperability across other key systems. The partner will work with our in-house software engineering team to develop our EHR functionality to the required specification in a clinically safe way that aligns to The Christie Digital Strategy and within the timescales required by the programme team. The immediate programme requirement for this partnership is to support the delivery of the product roadmap. The partner will support the software engineering team in the technical delivery of the roadmap. The Christie has existing engineering partnerships in place, and we are open to submissions from all parties. The Electronic Health Record (EHR) is being modernised and developed to support the current and future needs of the organisation. The business problem The Christie is seeking a partner to deliver a number of software engineering workstreams across the programme to modernise, maintain and develop the EHR. The is an ongoing programme that is now transitioning into Phase 2. The people who will use the product or service User type: Clinical System User Definition: As a specialist cancer trust we need to be able to store, share and transfer data, documents and other artefacts with clinicians, patients, administrative staff and various support staff locally, regionally and nationally. We are a Microsoft house and require full stack developers, some of the tech stack includes:- back end - .NET/.NET Core/.NET Standard frameworks, C# language, RESTful APIs, CQRS pattern front end - Angular, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Typescript, Classic ASP database - SQL, Windows Virtual Machines CI/CD / Deployment / Source Control - Azure DevOps IDEs - Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio Code, Microsoft SQL Management Studio, Docker, those are main ones but you can use others like Rider in addition.
