Bristol City Council, wish to set up a new Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of Catering Supplies. Lot 1: General Groceries The Supplier will be an established supplier of general groceries, with the capacity, resources and experience to provide the requirements. All grocery products supplied shall be fit for purpose with no defects and meet all current UK and EU legislation or equivalent. The Supplier at the Supplier’s expense shall replace any inferior or substandard product. Lot 2: LOT 2 - Frozen Foods and Ice cream As a minimum the Frozen Foods supplier must be a member of the BRC and preferably EFSIS approved or equivalent professional bodies. All Frozen products supplied shall be fit for purpose with no defects and meet all current UK and EU legislation or equivalent. The Supplier at the Supplier’s expense shall replace any inferior or substandard product. Lot 3: LOT 3 - Catering Disposables The Supplier will be an established provider of Catering Disposables, who has the capacity, resources and experience to provide the requirements. All items supplied shall be good quality with no defects and meet all current UK and EU legislation. Any inferior or substandard produce shall be replaced by the Supplier at the Supplier’s expense. Lot 4: LOT 4 - Hot Beverage Provisions The Supplier will be an established provider of Hot Drinks, who has the capacity, resources, and experience to provide the requirements. All products supplied under the contract must conform to the specifications. In the absence of a specification or sample, all produce/products supplied or used shall be within normal limits of commercial/industrial quality. All items supplied shall be good quality with no defects and meet all current UK and EU legislation. Any inferior or substandard produce shall be replaced by the Supplier at the Supplier’s expense. Lot 5: LOT 5- Drinks The Supplier will be an established provider of Drinks, who has the capacity, resources, and experience to provide the requirements. All products supplied under the contract must conform to the specifications . In the absence of a specification or sample, all produce/products supplied or used shall be within normal limits of commercial/industrial quality. All items supplied shall be good quality with no defects and meet all current UK and EU legislation. Any inferior or substandard produce shall be replaced by the Supplier at the Supplier’s expense.
