The City and County of Swansea (CCS) is planning to develop a c 3 000 — 3 500 — capacity multipurpose indoor arena for Swansea (the Arena), to be located close to the marina, in the city centre. The Arena will provide facilities for music, entertainment, conference and exhibition events. The vision for the project is as follows: To be a multifunctional, high quality regional destination supporting a vibrant waterfront city of innovation and culture. The Council is seeking to procure an experienced and qualified organistion to operate the arena facilities. This is an exciting opportunity for an organisation to work with the Council.
