Scottish Forestry has a requirement for a Framework to be available to provide Arboriculture services to fell and cross cut trees with, or close to having damaging insects or pathogens e.g. Phytophthera ramorum. The service required will comprise both planned and to a lesser extent, unplanned tree felling across Scotland. Scottish Forestry are looking to appoint three suppliers to the Framework Agreement for Arboriculture services to fell and cross cut trees with, or close to having damaging insects or pathogens e.g. Phytophthera ramorum. The service required is likely to comprise both planned and to a lesser extent, unplanned tree felling across Scotland. Potential duties include full tree and/or sectional felling, tree climbing and branch removal for sampling. The work is typically required on single trees or small numbers of trees.
