The trust are looking to engage with a supplier for to provide a intra operative spinal imaging system with spinal navigation capability to enhance our neuro/spinal service and support out Better Care and Lower Cost programme. The trust are looking for an innovative system that delivers the following objectives: — Safer surgery using less theatre time; — Fewer cases of spinal implant malposition; — Fewer cases of CSF shunt/drain malposition; — Fewer emergency unplanned returns to theatre; — Shorter length of stay; — Fewer spinal CT scans and x-rays; — Benefits across a breadth of neurosurgery sub-specialities: — Deep brain stimulation; — Spine; — CSF / hydrocephalus; — Neuro-oncology ; — Emergency Neurosurgery.
