Grounds Maintenance Contract - Expressions of Interest Invited

Horley Town Council is currently inviting expressions of interest to tender for its grounds maintenance contract for a period of 3 years, commencing 1 January 2016. Contract specifications will include Grass Cutting, Hedge Cutting, Football Pitch Preparation, Litter & Dog Faeces Collection, Minor Tree Works, Drains & Ditches, Tennis Courts & Hard Surfaces, Shrub Beds & Borders. A brief description of the scope of the contract is available from the link below. Maps of each location are available on request by emailing town.clerk@zen.co.uk or phone 01293 784765. Those seriously interested are welcome to visit these offices for an informal tour of the sites involved. This is a 2-stage process. In the first stage, interested suppliers will be asked to fill out a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire for return by Tuesday 1 September 2015 from which a short-list will be drawn up. In the second stage, the shortlisted suppliers will be invited to respond to an invitation to tender (ITT) which will include full specifications. The tenders are then evaluated and the contract awarded. The timetable is as follows: Closing date to express interest: Tuesday 1 September 2015 Short list compiled and tender documents sent out: w/c Monday 7 September 2015 Sealed bids to be submitted by: Friday 9 October 2015 Those selected will be invited for interview in October and the contract will awarded by the Town Council in November.
