Description
The port of dover mechanical and electrical (M&E) Framework 2018-2022 will see the procurement of appropriate suppliers to undertake the future maintenance, adjustment and installation of M&E services works across the port estate. Via 2 lots the framework is anticipated to cover the full range of M&E service requirements at the port (as more fully described in the procurement documents). This notice is published to formally engage with the market to determine suitable candidates to tender for the framework through a Pre-Qualification Process (PQQ). On response to this notice the supplier will be sent the pre-qualification invitation document which shall be submitted by the deadline and will qualitatively assess their ability to deliver the works. It is envisaged that those suppliers scoring highest following this assessment will be invited to tender at a later date (4 tenderers per lot — subject to adjustment based on market interest). The works in this Lot will comprise repair and replacement of mechanical installations, such as heating systems, and HVAC and associated connection/controls works. The typical type of works may include: — plant replacement schemes; boilers, chillers and their associated equipment, — pipework modifications or replacement (commercial and domestic water and heating), — external pipework infrastructure maintenance/replacement, — associated elements including controls, thermal insulation, asbestos management, building penetrations and making good, boxing of pipes, minor decorations and making good. — excavations and reinstatement, etc. for external services installation, — ventilation system replacement and air handling plant, — installation, maintenance or replacement of small cooling systems, — air conditioning and comfort cooling installations, — programmes comprising work on multiple sites, — labour provision to assist port own engineering teams in delivery, — design, — survey. The works in this lot will comprise repair and replacement of electrical systems including but not limited to all lighting types, small power, fire alarms and those electrical works associated mechanical installations. The typical works may include: — switchgear/distribution board replacement/upgrade schemes, — alterations to or replacement of wiring infrastructure, — external cable infrastructure replacement, — replacement, modifications and additions to general electrical installations and specialist electrical system installations, — lighting replacement, — lighting controls, — programmes comprising work on multiple sites, — HV installation and maintenance, — IT/Data infrastructure, — CCTV/Security, — provision of labour to assist the ports own engineering team in delivery, — design, — survey.
