The Authorities wish to appoint a Framework in 2 lots, to provide Security Services, encompassing: — Manned Guarding (including dog handlers) (24/7) — Mobile Patrols (including dog handlers) — Fire refuge systems —Gatehouse / Car Parking — Key-holding and alarm activation response Services (with an associated response time of 20 minutes to anywhere in the respective County) — Unlocking/Locking key corporate offices on a daily basis — Out of Hours response and action — Remote battery operated camera systems including smoke sensors — CCTV — Installation, Maintenance and Repair including remotely monitored systems — Intruder Alarm (including battery operated systems) — Installation, Monitoring, Maintenance and Repair — Lone Working Devices — Panic Alarm — Installation, Maintenance and Repair — An Out of Hours response service (To cover contracting authorities and their response contractors) — Alarm Monitoring Centre services across a variety of properties within the geographical boundaries of Cambridgeshire (Lot 1) and Northamptonshire (Lot 2). It is expected that the framework will last for a period of 3 years, with the option of 1 further year's extension, and will take the form of a framework agreement, under which individual requirements within each lot will be specified and priced according to a schedule of rates agreed as a result of this tender process. It is difficult to predict the exact value of this contract as the Authorities' property portfolios is likely to vary over the contract term, but it is estimated that the total value will not be less 2 660 000 GBP or greater than 4 000 000 GBP. This is calculated by taking the anticipated (but not guaranteed) annual spend of Cambridgeshire ( 350 000 GBP pa) and Northamptonshire (315 000 GBP pa), and allowing further spend within each lot from other bodies who may choose to access this framework. There is however no guarantee of any further body accessing this framework or of the totals provided above. Applicants are invited to apply for 1 or both lots. Bidders are requested within the Mandatory PQQ at 1.18 to confirm the lot(s) they are bidding for, and shall not be given the opportunity to revise these choices once the closing date for the PQQ submissions has passed. This Framework within the relevant lot is open to all of LGSS including: i. partners and other organisations delegating services and or functions to LGSS (currently Cambridgeshire County Council, Northamptonshire County Council, Norwich City Council and Northampton Borough Council) who participate in LGSS' shared services venture; ii. customers of LGSS; iii. any city, district, borough or other local authorities within the counties of any LGSS partner authorities (currently Cambridgeshire County and Northamptonshire County); iv. any companies or organisations set up by participants in LGSS; and any school, academy, university or other educational establishment within the counties of any LGSS partner authorities (currently Cambridgeshire County Council and Northamptonshire County Council).
