Description

The project will involve testing approximately 3,000 stool specimens from patients testing positive for H. pylori antigen at the local microbiology laboratories. We will test the stool samples for clarithromycin resistance using the Seegene Inc. Allplex™ H Pylori + ClarR assay on a CFX96 thermocycler & optical viewer. These consumables will be directly used in a surveillance study to investigate the antimicrobial primary resistance pattern of Helicobacter pylori in the U.K.
