Description

NHS Supply Chain seeks to establish a non-exclusive framework agreement for supply to NHS Supply Chain depots via the stock route and to the NHS Supply Chain customer base via the Blue Diamond and eDirect routes. The framework agreement is for the supply of enteral feeding and products associated with drainage of gastrointestinal secretions. It is anticipated that in the first 24 months of the framework agreement the value of purchases will be circa GBP 33 817 400 however this is approximate only. The figures for the total estimated value are based on that initial expenditure and include a forecast for growth. Syringes used in the process of enteral feeding to deliver nourishment and oral medication safely as well as aspiration (removal of gastric secretions). Reusable single patient use syringes are suitable for multiple usage of the same syringe on the same patient and single use syringes are for one-time usage only. Enteral feeding syringes and accessories lot includes, but not limited to: • feeding syringes • enteral syringes • oral tip syringes • catheter (bladder) tip syringes • enteral feeding syringe accessories, including: • syringe caps • adaptors • bottle adaptors • blunt fill filter needles • blunt fill needles • milk straws • drawing up straws • filter straws • medicine straws • rectal straws; and • colostrum collectors. NHS Supply Chain anticipates appointing all applicants who meet the minimum requirements which are set out in these tender documents and whose total score meets or exceeds a hurdle of at least 35 % at tender evaluation stage to the relevant product line of the framework agreement. Enteral feeding devices are used to provide a means of patient feeding when oral intake is not adequate, and can be used as a long term enteral nutrition solution. The enteral feeding devices lot includes, but not limited to: • button device low profile; • enteral drainage bags; • extension line/sets for low profile devices button; • extension line/set for tubing/syringe drivers; • gastrostomy feeding tubes — balloon retained • gastrostomy feeding tubes — non balloon retained; • percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) feeding tube; • feeding tube gastrostomy direct puncture; • feeding tube jejunostomy; • surgical jejunostomy; • Jejunal extension for PEG tube; • nasogastric feeding tube; • nasogastric feeding and drainage tube; • nasojejunal feeding tube; • transgastric jejunal feeding tube; • nasal anchoring system; • pH reading device; • tube placement indicator; • enteral feeding device accessories; • bolus feeding sets; • button removal devices; • cleaning brushes; • decompression systems; • dilator; • gastric decompression systems; • gastrostomy adaptors; • gastrostomy replacement packs — Sterile pack containing the items required to change a balloon retained gastrostomy tube; • gastrostomy or PEG security — used to secure gastrostomy devices in place (either apparel or belts) from accidental or intentional dislodge of device; • initial placement kits; • introducers and introducer kits; • PEG tube repair kits — used to repair damaged feed connections on PEG tubes; • pH reading device sensors; • procedure packs; • Replacement ends; • right angle feeding sets used for bolus feeds, thick formula or blended diet; • stoma measuring devices; • stoma plugs; • stopcocks; • valve/Venting bags; and • Y extension sets for use with enteral pumps. NHS Supply Chain anticipates appointing all applicants who meet the minimum requirements which are set out in these tender documents and whose total score meets or exceeds a hurdle of at least 35 % at tender evaluation stage to the relevant product line of the framework agreement. Provides the nutrients required for a healthy balanced diet and are intended to supplement any shortfall between what the patient consumes and their individual nutritional requirement. Includes oral nutritional supplements, tube feeds and feed thickeners as well as the apparatus, giving sets, required to deliver the feeds to the patient’s own feeding tube and/or pump. The enteral feeds, drinks and giving sets lot include, but not limited to: • dysphagia powders (Gum or Starch Based) • oral nutritional supplement (Adult, Paediatric or Dysphagia) • enteral tube feeds (Adult or Paediatric) • giving sets • feeding pumps • giving set accessory, including but not limited to: • various sized containers • adaptors/connectors. Bile bags and associated tubing (Ryles/Levin) products used for biliary drainage. The bile bags, ryles tubes and levin tubes lot include, but not limited to: • Levin Tubes; • Ryles Tubes; • Bile Bags. NHS Supply Chain anticipates appointing all applicants who meet the minimum requirements which are set out in these tender documents and whose total score meets or exceeds a hurdle of at least 35 % at tender evaluation stage to the relevant product line of the framework agreement.
