Do potential suppliers need to already be security cleared to HMPSS SC level before applying? We cannot discount a supplier solely because they can't offer a security cleared team, but it would definitely be a concern to us because the time taken to gain clearance would delay the start of the work, and also it is a risk to us if we appoint a non-SC cleared supplier and the team subsequently fail their vetting.
