The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for the provision of Horizontal Vacuum Furnace including maintenance, training and support on behalf of the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Catcliffe, South Yorkshire. Lot 1: The Nuclear AMRC is seeking to procure a high-temperature vacuum furnace to pursue unique research into joining (brazing) and heat treatment of advanced materials required for the next generation of advanced modular and nuclear fusion reactor programmes.
