The Renville Management Committee has been formed by the Oranmore Maree GAA Club, to develop a state of the art regional sports and community centre on a 34 acre site adjacent to Rinville Park, 3km from Oranmore. The project has been awarded a €2.52m grant by the Large Scale Sport Infrastructure Fund (LSSIF), through the Sports Capital Programmes Division of the Department for Tourism, Culture, Art, the Gaeltacht, Sports and Media and it is planned to use this grant for Phase I of the development. This tender is for the appointment of the Main Works Contractor for the development of Phase I of the Renville Sports and Community Centre project. Phase I will primarily involve the development of pitches and associated facilities. The facilities to be delivered in Phase I of the project will be as follows: One 4G floodlit full size pitch; Two Full Size Grass Pitches; Community Parking Area; Public Toilet Facilities; Enhancements to the Maree Road / Rinville Road Junction (safety improvements); and Site Entrance Road.
