Description
Bromford Housing Group Ltd, (parent of the group) as a central purchasing body on behalf of itself and any of its current or future entities and subsidiaries (together ‘Bromford’) undertakes this procurement process to award a contract for the supply of inspection, maintenance and repair services to various domestic heating systems and associated equipment. The contract covers various types of domestic heating systems including gas/Lpg, oil and solid fuel heating systems, Air source heat pumps (ASHP) heating systems, solar heating system, Ground source heat pumps (GSHP), Unvented cylinders and other equipment (such as smoke/heat/CO detectors) associated or in some way linked to the heating systems. The supplier will be responsible for providing all necessary labour, materials, plant, tools and equipment. Supplier shall also arrange and enable integration of the supplier’s ordering IT system with the Client’s IT system. Successful supplier will be responsible for providing the following key services in relation to various types of domestic heating systems and associated equipment and as specified in more detail further within this specification: — carrying out statutory safety checks at the intervals and on the dates as required by the relevant statutory regulations, — carrying out regular servicing and maintenance in accordance with the agreed programme; all premises to be compliant with all necessary statutory works completed on or before the cyclical date, — completing all repairs as necessary, right first visit as and when required, — occasional replacement on a reactive basis of gas boilers and heat pump units (relating to ASHP) when a repair is either not feasible or not economical (and such works cannot be accommodated by the client’s in-house team), — carrying out regular fuel and smoke checks and where installed the servicing of unvented hot water storage systems, — providing a fully integrated IT system that not only enables real time updates but allows customers to book appointments directly with the supplier through both client and supplier portal, — providing a fully flexible service that facilities and delivers a timed appointment system that fully supports customers’ busy working lives and needs, — providing an exceptional liaison service to the customers, including but not limited to ensuring confirmed and documented access arrangements (appointments) via varying communication mediums in order to carry out services, — providing fully auditable, legible and lawful documentation, error free, right first time, — providing a fully comprehensive quality assured service that is, both customer and safety driven by an accomplished experienced team. All in accordance with the requirements of this specification, this contract terms and conditions, relevant manufacturers’ guidelines and instructions and all applicable standards, laws, regulations and Statutory Requirements and their revisions (as the case may be) current at the time of providing services.
