STOCKPORT REF P0408/22 THE PROVISION OF: SECURITY OPERATIVES

<p>The Trust requires the following minimum service provision for the Security Services Contract for Stockport NHS Foundation Trust when covering shifts working as a Security Guard – Primary Roles • To provide a visible presence in the vicinity of the area requested to work, • To ensure that all doors are secure and fire doors are set, • To monitor the CCTV monitor as and when the opportunity provides, • To ensure that all the patrols and monitoring checklists are completed, • To assist clinical staff with violent or unruly patients/residents/visitors, • To respond to all intruder alarm activation to try and establish cause of activation. If the check identifies no sign of intrusion, re-set alarm and secure building. In the event of a break in having occurred, contact Police and if required staff from department concerned. Contact Estates staff (“On Call” outside normal office hours) to secure building as required, • To assist patients and visitors with any requests for assistance whilst on the Trust premises, e.g. directions to wards/clinics, assistance with parking. The tenderer is required to evidence how they will meet this requirement with examples. Provision of Security Guards The Trust has a requirement for two types of service: - The provision of a Security Operative to be based at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust on an Ad Hoc Basis working alongside the in-house security team - The provision of an Operative to be based at a Stockport NHS Foundation Trust on an Ad Hoc Basis (Enhanced Security). Please detail the processes and resources you have in place to ensure continuity of service for the requirement. The Trust often requires guards at short notice and could need a guard on site within the hour.
