BIM and the Marine Institute have entered into a joint procurement collaboration agreement. BIM, acting on behalf of both parties now invites tenders for the provision of tetraploid Crassostrea gigas juvenile broodstock, certified disease free and produced in a hatchery based in an OsHV1‐uvar free area, which may be used as the G0 population in any future Irish gigas broodstock programmes. The contract will run for 2 years. **This contract has been awarded to Cartron Point Shellfish**
