Description

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has sought to use a VEAT as per the directive in order to ensure the service continues to function whilst the CCG undertake in-depth scoping of services required to maintain or improve Nutrition provision across the STP. During the 12 month timeframe of this VEAT, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG will seek to undertake the work required on scoping, designing and implementing a new service. This is, however, predicated on a multitude of variables; including national guidance and effective implementation of the new Procurement Towers (part of the Department of Health and Social Care's Future Operating Model (FOM)), and engagement from the NHS Trusts regarding Primary and Secondary Care provision.
