Description
The Council manages traffic data throughout Oxfordshire through various methods which include 450 plus Automatic Traffic Counters (ATC) sites and 51 Automatic Number Plate Recognition Cameras (ANPR) sites. The ATC monitoring programme provides important information such as traffic growth and the effects of major schemes on the county road network. The contract objective is to ensure that the survey data equipment is maintained and repaired to a high standard ensuring that minimal delays are experienced when there has been a failure of equipment hardware or software. Failures in equipment are to be managed in a timely cost effective manner to ensure the smooth running of the operation.
