Summary of the work In support of the Government and MOD digital transformation strategy, analysis of paper based forms. DBS require the following outputs and work break down: 80% analysis of HR forms in preparation for digitisation and identify opportunities for consolidation 20% Documentation of findings Specialist role Business analyst Expected Contract Length 40 working days with the option to add up to 20 additional days. Latest start date Monday 21 January 2019 Maximum Day Rate The Authority's assessment is that IR35 applies Who Speclialist Work With The supplier will be working with the Civilian HR Business Teams, an In-house Developer, User Researcher and Delivery Manager. What Specialists Work On This is part of the wider Government Digital Transformation strategy. The key objective of this being to replace outdated paper HR forms with a modern digital service. The role of the Business Analyst is to work with our business teams in reviewing the backlog of forms, confirming the continuous need for the form and content. The Analyst will be required to document the findings in readiness for digitalisation. This will improve customer experience through digitised service enabling a reduction in current administrative burden. Skills & Experience • Minimum of 2 years' experience of working in multi-disciplinary Agile teams • Provide evidence of (minimum of 2 years) having a proven ability to elicit, analyse and model business and operational requirements. • Provide evidence of (minimum of 2 years) having excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate complex delivery matters simply and clearly to non-technical colleagues. • Provide evidence of (minimum of 2 years) having excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, up to senior management level. Nice to Haves Provide evidence of delivery within a Government Department Work Location It is anticipated that the work will be undertaken in Bristol, at MOD DBS Abbey Wood North but there may be some travel to other MOD sites.
