Installation and upgrade SERO energy devices to be project managed, supplied and retrofitted into homes to transmit data from retrofitted homes which in turn could inform future residential decarbonisation policy approaches The Welsh Government’s Optimised Retrofit Programme (ORP) works with Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) and local authorities (LA’s) with the aim of installing a variety of home decarbonisation measures to existing social housing stock. It considers the fabric or materials that homes are made from, and the way heat and energy are stored and reaches homes. SERO were originally contracted for energy devices to be project managed, supplied and retrofitted into homes, the installed energy devices transmit data from retrofitted homes which in turn could inform future residential decarbonisation policy approaches. This contract with Welsh Government and Sero is for the support installation and upgrade of the previous devices for the purpose of information & data gathering within social housing premises associated with the Optimised Retrofit Programme. The energy devices (known as BEE Version 2’s need to be upgraded and installed to 2,321 energy devices belonging to an Optimised Retrofit Consortium of Social Housing landlords.
