Media Liaison Services for the Commission on the Future of Policing in Ireland

Description

The Commission on the Future of Policing in Ireland is seeking the services, on a per diem basis, of an experienced communications advisor to: • assist with the Commission’s communications requirements • raise awareness and understanding of the work of the Commission • support the Commission’s public consultation programme, including assistance with event management where required • engage with the media in responding to queries on the work of the Commission Detailed tasks to be completed will be agreed with the Commission, including approval in advance, on a monthly basis, of the number of days to be assigned to each task under the contract. In summary, the Services include but are not limited to: • Implementation of promotional activities both online and offline; • Public consultation services, including event management; • ‘Stakeholder Communications’ and engagement services; • Media relations and general communications management including issuing of press releases.
