The Courtauld seeks to appoint an external auditor for the University, whose work will report to the Governing Board via the Audit and Risk Committee and assist management in independently auditing the financial statements of the University. T Lot 1: The Courtauld seeks to appoint an external auditor for the University, whose work will report to the Governing Board via the Audit and Risk Committee and assist management in independently auditing the financial statements of the University. The auditor will be expected to provide a management report to the Audit and Risk Committee in accordance with auditing standards which will be shared with the OfS each year. The purpose of this Invitation to Tender is to select a service provider which represents the best value for money in terms of price and quality of service to meet the external audit requirement of the University and its subsidiaries. The service provider must confirm in their tender response that they: • are a registered statutory auditor and are eligible for appointment as external auditor within the requirements of the OfS. • are an accredited/registered provider who, if required at a future date for the US loans engagement, can prepare a report that is consistent with the US assurance standards. • have in place appropriate training and development programmes to sufficiently support staff development in these areas to that ensure that compliance is maintained and high-quality work can be carried out. • have relevant experience of working with clients in the Higher Education (HE) sector.
