Description
The Association of North East Councils trading as the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) framework agreement award for tyres and associated services, the solution will provide for a fully comprehensive tyres replacement and repair service that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year to cover the requirements of participating contracting authorities. Suppliers must also ensure adherence to current transport legislation and meet current environmental legislation in regard to disposal methods. The framework agreement for tyres and associated services is to be made available for use by all contracting authorities throughout all administrative regions of the UK (as defined by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015) including but not limited to Government Departments and their agencies, non-departmental public bodies, central government, NHS bodies, local authorities, emergency services, coastguard emergency services, educational establishments, registered social landlords and registered charities who have a need to purchase the above supplies. The framework agreement will be awarded to a maximum of three (3) suppliers on to each lot. Awarded suppliers will then be mapped on a matrix which demonstrates their specialisms and their ability to supply geographically. The contracting authority will issue a call-off by way of direct award without opening up competition or through the operation of a mini-competition. The call-off contract will be on the terms specified in the call-off terms and conditions, supplemented as appropriate by such details as price and quantity which will be specified in the call-off order.
