1. GENERAL INFORMATION Specification This framework is for the supply and delivery of a variety of crime reduction products. These items are used by police forces as a cost effective way of reducing the risk of vulnerable people becoming victims of crime and may may be provided to: • members of a community, to raise awareness of the need for crime prevention; • individuals or groups, identified as at risk of becoming a victim of crime; or • victims of crime, to provide reassurance and reduce the risk of reoccurrence A number of key products were specified during the tender process and these form the ‘core’ list of products. Suppliers were also asked to propose additional items to be included as part of the framework agreement. The technical specifications of each product may vary by supplier, and full details are available in the product catalogue. Suppliers There are two suppliers on the framework: JNE Security Ltd and Central Management Catalogue Agency UK Ltd T/A CMCA(UK).
