Provision of Baseplate for check rail system

Description

The proposed system must be suitable for use with CEN54E1 running rail inclined at 1:40 with CEN33C1 checkrail (not raised). The baseplate material to be in accordance with EN-GJS-400 18C LT (EN1563). Standard baseplate hole centres 100mm x 490mm (alternative hole pitchings may be required as specials from time to time). The baseplate must be compatible with an SKL fastening system in conjunction with an approved inner bracing system to allow for removal of the running rail without the requirement to remove the checkrail. Check rail must not require drilling and must be adjustable without the requirement for its removal. Flangeway Clearances to be accommodated by design : 57 – 64mm (plates to be machined as required and not shimmed) The proposed system must have approval certification for use on EU rail networks (e.g. DB, SNCF, Network Rail, OBB, ADIF, Infrabel, Prorail, RFI, TRVK, BANEDanmark).
