Description

South Lanarkshire Council requires staff to undertake the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Level 4 and 5 qualifications to strengthen professional knowledge, skills and consistent practice across the service. Achieving a nationally recognised housing qualification supports individual development and progression by evidencing competence, building confidence in applying housing legislation, policy and best practice, and creating clearer pathways into specialist and senior roles. In turn, this improves outcomes for customers by helping staff provide accurate advice first time, make well-informed and fair decisions, and deliver a more responsive, customer-focused service with greater consistency and quality. The delivery of these qualifications must be in-person, at a location which can be reached within 60 minutes by public transport from South Lanarkshire Council Headquarters: Almada Street, Hamilton ML3 0AA.
