WHC - Intranet Replacement - AWARD

Description

Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council is beginning to undertake a comprehensive modernisation programme. This programme includes making digital services available to all and creating a digitally empowered workforce. The Council currently has approximately 590 staff, including contractors and elected Councillors (Members), who are based at multiple locations with many working remotely. We want our intranet to become the go to channel for internal communications. It should deliver a powerful digital workplace platform that is easy to use and maintain, and available to all staff and Members from any device. This work to redevelop our intranet will form part of a wider strategy for improving our internal infrastructure including embracing cloud technology, introducing Office 365, and streamlining our processes.
