Description
This is not a call for competition - Please review the Brochure and complete the EOI. Bury are looking for an operator to cover: Radcliffe Enterprise Centre (REC) is a new co-working office space in the 1907 Carnegie Library building in Radcliffe. The council secured £1.9m in Government funding via the UKSFP and LGPFP as well as additional council funding in the amount of £900k. To preserve and repurpose the building after the library decants to the new £40m Civic Hub in Summer 2026. Aimed at start- up and small creative and digital businesses it offers tailored office space, alongside bookable hot desks and meeting rooms in what was once the Library. It will set the standard for how we foster a new businesses community and support network in the sector. The space is the first of its kind in the borough and is in a prime central location. With excellent public transport links - Metrolink tram stop and Radcliffe Bus station just around the corner. There is a public car park on site. There are currently no co-working spaces locally and REC offers the next level of office provision compared to existing traditional offices in the borough. The key users will be new start-ups and SMEs particularly in the creative and digital sectors. Keywords: Operator, Radcliffe
