SCC has recently withdrawn its recognition scheme following the introduction of a new Performance Related Pay system (PRP) which allows for non-consolidated (performance) payments awarded to employees for exceptional performance as part of an annual review. SCC is looking to introduce a recognition scheme that would enable employees to be rewarded on a timely basis for excellent customer service, this could be manager led, peer-to-peer or team rewards. ESCC and BHCC do not operate performance related pay at present, but are interested in exploring what cost-effective options might exist to allow employees to recognise and reward good performance on a peer-to-peer basis. Employee reward and recognition scheme overview provision of a bespoke online or paper based system which can be accessed by multiple users. The system should have the ability to reward/recognise both individual staff and teams for various levels of contribution.
