Sefton Council is looking for a suitable supplier for the provision of fencing and barriers at the Southport Air Show and the British Musical Fireworks Championship\r \r Background \r \r Sefton Councils Tourism Section is responsible for arranging events for the Southport area which includes the Southport Air Show and the British Musical Fireworks Championship\r \r These are hugely popular events that are well attended\r \r Specification\r \r Southport Air Show on 9th and 10th September 2023\r The event sometimes switches between July and September due to the tides at Southport\r To supply erect and dismantle 1400 crowd control barriers these will be positioned around the seafront area and on the beach\r To supply erect and dismantle 800 heras fence panels with supports blocks and clips width 3 and a half m x Height 2m\r These will be positioned around the seafront area and over uneven ground\r 4 sets of temporary steps 8 wide with handrails for pedestrian use during the event and to be positioned over the seawall\r All the above to be completed by the end of Thursday 7th September and to be dismantled as soon as possible after the event ends on Sunday 9th September after 7pm\r British Musical Fireworks Championship on 22nd and 23rd September 2023\r Victoria Park Southport\r \r To supply erect and dismantle 265 crowd control barriers\r To supply erect and dismantle 367 heras fence panels with supports blocks and clips\r All the above to be completed by the end of Thursday 21st September and to be dismantled on Monday 25th September\r \r All prices to be listed individually as per Pricing Schedule within this document\r \r Supplier must provide all equipment necessary for the job ie forklift truck\r \r Please see uploaded site plans\r The Air Show plan gives an indication of the size of the event site and not all barriers have been included on the plan\r \r Sefton Council reserves the right to award the contract and agreement on the basis of a single supplier\r
