Provision of an Early Help Parent Support Service

Bridgend County Borough Council wishes to award the delivery of a specialist Early Help parenting support to families. Eligibility for the service will be in line with criteria for the Welsh Government’s Families First and Early Intervention Parenting Support Programmes. The work will involve coproducing a programme of interventions and activities which complement and work alongside the Council’s own Early Help Hubs. The objective of the service is to strengthen parenting confidence and resilience across all age ranges. Core activity must include the delivery of structured and flexible interventions in the form of evidence-based parenting courses and group-based workshops, for parents of younger children, school-age children and teenagers, covering themes such as positive behaviour management, establishing routines, effective communication, adolescent development and managing risk-taking behaviour. ## Contract award Title: Provision of an Early Help Parent Support Service
