Brief Description of Requirement The aim of this tender exercise is to appoint a supplier for the provision of the research and writing of a report on the Core principles and opportunities for trustworthy and responsible AI. The output of this work is split into 2 phases. Phase 1 makes the backbone of the work and is linked with submission of the interim report. Phase 2, constitutes with finalising the report, revisions and final edits. Specific objectives: - Research key principles underlying trust and responsibility of AI systems. o Importance of principles in different stages of the AI lifecycle - Research innovation opportunities that derive from trust and responsible AI systems. - Research commercial opportunities that derive from development of trust and responsible AI systems. - Outline opportunities the UK could focus on and lead in these areas:- o Research o Innovation o AI standards - Outline any gaps in the UK or clear advantage points where international markets are ahead in implementation of trust and responsible AI covering ethical, legal and technical advancements. - Provide a 3 page executive summary Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement. All attachments can be found with the Supplier Attachments tab within the Jaggaer eSourcing Portal. This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria as set out in the ITQ document. Responses must be received by the date and time in the tender documentation; responses received outside of the deadline or not sent via the Jaggaer eSourcing portal will not be accepted or considered by the Contracting Authority further for this opportunity, unless a system outage is experienced, to which the Contracting Authority will advise upon accordingly. Interested organisations should ensure that they allow a sufficiency of time, prior to the deadline to allow all sections to be completed in full and any attachments to be uploaded.
